If you plan to enjoy your coffee within 30 days, it’s perfectly fine to store it in its original bag or transfer it to a lidded, opaque container kept at room temperature. Avoid light, heat, and humidity, as these factors accelerate flavor loss and oxidation.

For longer-term freshness, it’s best to keep our sealed 12 oz bags unopened until you’re ready to brew. The bag’s one-way valve and oxygen-free environment help protect the coffee’s delicate aromatics and natural oils.

If you’d like to preserve coffee for several months, you can store it in an oxygen-free environment using a vacuum sealer or another airtight storage method.

Please avoid placing unsealed coffee in the freezer. Moisture and condensation can cause the beans to age prematurely and lose complexity. If you do freeze coffee, make sure it’s in a completely sealed, airtight package and allow it to return to room temperature before opening to prevent moisture buildup.
